4 H Field and Stream

 

The Alcorn County 4-H Field & Stream is administered by the Mississippi

State University Extension Service and conducted locally by certified 4-H Volunteer Leaders.

The Field & Stream program is an educational program which uses shooting sports as

the teaching tool for youth ages 8-18. Youth learn life long skills such as responsibility,

self-confidence, and communication skills, while participating in the program.

In addition to learning, they have fun and develop lasting friendships.

Certified 4-H volunteers strive to meet the following goals:

Members have the opportunity to participate in county, district, state, and national

competitions. The Field & Stream program does not require youth to participate in these events.
