High Power Rifle
CRSSA High Power Rifle matches are NRA Approved.
We use the NRA rules, scoring and classification systems.
The high-power rifle tournament that we sponsor is shot on a 100 yard course
and is just one of many HP tournaments offered through NRA.
This is the game that actually inspired the founder of this club to become an NRA/CMP affiliate.
USPSA / IPSC courses of fire include an exciting variety of time limits, limited rounds, and shooting positions that can result in a very interesting outcome.
Competitors can use any service rifle or centerfire rifle with metallic sights, and two magazines capable of holding not less than five rounds. A sling, mat, and spotting scope are recommended.

The course of fire will be: (all courses on this tournament will be fired @ 100 yards.)
- You will be allowed five sighter-shots in five minutes, twice. (usually prone, single-load)
- (7.1) STANDING ----slow----ten rounds in 10 minutes, single load
- (7.2) SITTING from standing----rapid----ten rounds in 60 seconds (using 2 clips or mag)
- (7.3) PRONE from standing----rapid----ten rounds in 70 seconds (using 2 clips or mags)
- (7.4) PRONE ----slow----twenty rounds in 20 minutes, single load
