2007 Mississippi State Championship Match Results
International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA)
IDPA doesn't require special equipment. One of it's objectives is to provide the shooters
with practical and realistic courses of fire that simulate potentially life threatening encounters
or to test skills that would be required to survive life threatening encounters.
Shooters are required to wear some sort of "cover" (long shirt, vest or jacket) that
will conceal your firearm but will make it easily accessible.
IDPA membership is required after the first match and may be obtained for $30
through IDPA or for $25 (initial fee only) for Cross Roads Sport Shooting
Association club members.
The THIRD SATURDAY of each month is reserved for IDPA matches.
Match begins at 1:00 PM - come early enough to sign-in, attend the safety issues meeting,
and get a run-down on the rules, scoring and penalty processes of IDPA.

IDPA matches are run on a COLD RANGE (holster your guns at your vehicle, unloaded.
Do not handle your pistol until Range Officer instructs you to do so.)

Please bring water. We will keep a 5 gallon jug on hand for refills.
