United States Practical Shooting Association (USPSA/IPSC)
What makes USPSA/IPSC shooting unique is VARIETY!
Tight shots between "no-shoot" targets, long shots to tax your accuracy skills.
You may use anything from your grandmother's revolver to a 100% custom-built,
scope-sighted race with rifles and shotguns at special "3-gun" matches.
USPSA was developed out of "combat shooting" matches held in the American
southwest in the 1970's and has evolved into an Olympic-style sport. You can spend
as much on USPSA/IPSC as you want, but it isn't necessary to spend a lot
for the minimum amount of equipment needed.

The SECOND SUNDAY of each month is reserved for USPSA/IPSC matches.
Matches begin at 1:00PM. Come early enough to file an entry and attend the safety meeting.
You will also be briefed on the scoring and penalty process.
If you have never done this before, you will be very much welcomed!
There are plenty of good folks that will be glad to walk you through this game.

Membership to USPSA is not required to shoot a match, but it is
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Match fees are $8. $3 will go to USPSA/IPSC.
Please bring water. We will keep a 5-gallon jug for refills.
USPSA / IPSC is operated a
"COLD RANGE".
Holster your unloaded firearm at your vehicle.
Do not handle your pistol until the Range Officer
instructs you to do so.
