Small Bore Prone

CRSSA has decided to continue with the smallbore prone matches in the International Style. For more information on this, please contact us at crssa@earthlink.net

The info below will still be posted in case anyone may be interested in continuing with our NRA Conventional Style Smallbore Prone matches.
NRA rules, scoring and classification system will be used.
This is a great tournament for anyone. Just about any .22 rifle may be used and may have
either metallic or telescopic sights. The entire match is fired from the prone position.
Shooters will fire at four series of targets placed at 50 and 100 yards.(7.2.1)
It is recommended that you bring a sling, glove, spotting scope, mat, water, eye and ear protection.
You should consider bringing a sweat-shirt or other top with thick sleeves for elbow protection.
Bring rifle unloaded (and preferrably cased). Bring plenty of .22 ammo (at least 100 rounds)
You will be allowed unlimited sighters at the start of some stages.
If you would like to compete in this match and don't have a rifle, we have one.
Just call ahead of time so we may bring it. You will need to supply the ammo.

20 rounds in 20 minutes (target A-23/5, 5 shots per bull) at 50 yards
20 rounds in 20 minutes (A-27 50 meter reduced to 50 yd, 5 per bull) at 50 yards
